DEFENDING THE 2ND AMENDMENT
I firmly believe that we need to protect the constitutional rights of all law-abiding gun owners to defend themselves and their families.
GIVING TAX RELIEF TO ILLINOIS FAMILIES
Illinois residents pay more of their income toward state and local taxes than any other state’s residents. Illinois families pay just shy of 15% of their total income to state and local taxes. We need to provide tax relief to Illinois families and we must stand against all efforts to raise taxes.
FIGHTING CORRUPTION
Illinois is the most corrupt state in the country. Thousands of government officials and business officials have been convicted of corruption in Illinois since its founding. We must fight for much need ethics reforms and stand up against the Chicago machine.
Cutting Red Tape
Illinois business face some of the harshest regulations in the country and face some of the highest start up costs. These costs and regulations stifle innovation and competition. Illinois needs to be a state where anyone can invest their time and treasure to grow their business or trade. Removing government red tape will lead to more jobs in our state and prosperity for all.
Education
Illinois has some of the hardest working teachers in the country. We need to ensure that our teachers do not have to pay out of pocket for classroom materials. We also need to give our teachers more freedom to teach, not more mandated circulum from Springfield and not to a standardized test.
Protecting the Unborn
God is the Creator of all life. He created all human beings in His image. Every life is a gift from Him. It is an irrefutable scientific fact that human life begins at conception. We must protect the the unborn.
